Cambro Plans New Plant In North Carolina

Cambro Mfg. is building an additional production facility to enhance service to its customers on the East Coast. The company’s new manufacturing and distribution facility will be in Mebane, N.C., located between Greensboro and Raleigh. The plant will be Cambro’s sixth manufacturing plant.

“The state of North Carolina provides an accommodating business climate that is ideal for supporting Cambro’s forecasted growth,” remarked Argyle Campbell, CEO and owner of Cambro. “We were impressed with the state’s commitment to economic development and determined that it was clearly the best choice for our expansion.”

The Huntington Beach, Calif., company expects to break ground on the new facility later this spring with a planned opening in the first quarter of 2015. In addition to two plants in Huntington Beach, Cambro also has factories in Germany, Turkey and China, which primarily produce product for those specific regions.
