Friday marks the deadline to apply for the 2015 Kitchen Innovations Awards. Now in their 11th year, the National Restaurant Association’s KI Awards honor meaningful advancements in foodservice equipment and technology and give suppliers of these cutting-edge products the opportunity to gain industrywide visibility.
Recipients will be announced in March and exhibited and demonstrated two months later in the NRA Show’s Kitchen Innovations Pavilion.
“We are seeking new kitchen equipment and technology innovations that deliver the most significant benefits to operators,” said Dan Bendall, principal-FoodStrategy Inc. and one of nine KI Awards judges. “Our panel of judges believes continuous innovation is the life-blood of our industry growth and profitability. It’s our mission to evaluate the latest innovations and select those which are major advances in kitchen efficiency, quality, safety, conservation, integration with the front of the house and, of course, improving the work environment.”
Suppliers need to apply for a KI Award by Friday, Dec. 12 at Restaurant.org/Show/KI. To be considered, equipment and technology products must be introduced or have been introduced to the marketplace between May 2013 and May 2015.
