FEDA Convention Leaves No Business Idea Unexplored

Registration materials should be in member’s mailboxes this week for the Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association’s Annual Convention, March 25-29, 2015, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix.

Convention Chair Carl Gustafson, Ace Mart Restaurant Supply, and Assistant Chair Jay Ringelheim, Globe Equipment Co., have put together a program to motivate, challenge, inspire and provide attendees with a surfeit of practical and innovative ideas for success in the competitive marketplace.

  • “Playing it Safe is Riskier than You Think,” presented by Bill Taylor, co-founder/editor of Fast Company magazine
  • “A Patriot’s Calling: Leadership, Teamwork and Sacrifice,” presented by closing speaker Major Dan Rooney
  • “Passion on Purpose: Gain a Competitive Edge by Cultivating a High-Engagement, High-Performance Work Culture,” presented by Ryan Estis, former chief strategy officer for McCann Worldgroup.

Also on the docket is “Technology Collaboration and Useful Apps,” presented by FEDA Pres. Brad Pierce. He will share how FEDA is closely collaborating with NAFEM, AutoQuotes and other industry associations to develop an important standardized nomenclature of data terms and processes that will enhance the efficiencies of the distribution channel.

FEDA also will continue with its always popular Best Practices dealer roundtable discussions. Topics and table leaders include:
