FEDA’s Diamond Donors Fund Education Programs

With a month left in the calendar year, FEDA is reminding dealer personnel to think long-term about improving their professional credentials by working on CFSP and ServSafe certifications. Those who earned these certifications in 2015 are eligible to apply for FEDA’s Education Foundation scholarships, which can help reimburse certification fees.

The association’s CFSP and ServSafe scholarships are made possible through the support of FEDA’s Diamond Donors. That group of 20 companies includes: Advance Tabco, Ali Group, Alto-Shaam, American Panel Corp., Cardinal Int’l., Continental Refrigerator, Cres Cor, Dexter-Russell, Duke Mfg., Eagle Group, Hatco Corp., InterMetro Industries, ITW Food Equipment Group, Libbey Inc., Manitowoc Foodservice Group, Nor-Lake Inc., Pitco, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Unified Brands, and The Vollrath Co.

FEDA’s Education Foundation already has awarded the 2016 scholarships it sets aside for the University of Innovative Distribution. They’re used to reimburse fees for certifications earned there in 2015. The scholarships are awarded annually, however, and more information on the program can be found at UID’s website.
