Here’s To A Good Year, And Another Good Year

We’re going to keep this one short and sweet. Jan and I have a Christmas tree to finish trimming, our son Sam came home from Ohio University for winter break yesterday (I write this Sunday, Dec. 13), and I’m just getting going on Christmas shopping. On the business side, we have two meetings with our soon-to-be new partners at WAI and have to finish up the January issue this coming week.

We know you are busy too, getting out orders to operators suddenly desperate for glassware for a holiday party, finishing up your 2016 budgets, and trying to squeeze in your own company holiday party. The FERster Christmas lunch is Dec. 21, so don’t expect us to pick up the phone right away that day.

It’s been a momentous year for us and a very good one. We’re looking forward to an even better 2016, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary and begin work with WAI.

I know from the market numbers we constantly report that it has been a very good year for most of you, too. And unless something happens we can’t foresee, 2016 should provide a great business environment for anyone selling foodservice equipment and supplies. We hope it’s been and will be just as fulfilling for you on the personal side.

So, from all of us at Gill Ashton Publishing, have a wonderful holiday season and a healthy and wildly successful 2016.  We appreciate your readership and support all these years. We’ll write to you again in January.
