With Annual Conference Nearing, MAFSI Adds Three New Directors

Atlanta-based MAFSI has tapped three new national directors to its 19-person board. New are:

  • Mitch Marcotte, Principal-GMV Sales, Westboro, Mass., representing Region 1-New England.
  • Steve Amos, HRI Inc., St. Claire Shores, Mich., representing Region 6-Michigan/Indiana. Amos, CPMR, CFSP, also serves as a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the School Nutrition Association of Michigan.
  • Jordan Veitch, Veitch Group, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., representing Region 13-Florida.

Selected by their regional peers, each industry veteran will serve a three-year term. “Year after year I’m astounded at the level of experience we’re able to access with our board,” said Alison Cody, MAFSI’s Executive Director. “We have a very strong leadership foundation in place, and we couldn’t be more pleased with these appointments.”

The association’s 2016 officers are:

President: Jeff Couch, Preferred Marketing Group, Chatsworth, Calif.

Vice President: Chris Jeens, CPMR, W.D. Colledge Co., Ltd, Mississauga, Ont.

Treasurer: Kevin Eaton, CFSP, Eaton Marketing Associates, Clearwater, Fla.

Immediate Past President: Joe Ferri, CPMR, CFSP, Pecinka Ferri Associates, Fairfield, N.J.

Past President: Mike McGuire, CPMR, CFSP, Zink Foodservice, Westerville, Ohio.

MAFSI will host its Business Development Conference, Repnology and Sales Marketing Forum January 13-16 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix. More than 500 attendees are expected, including nearly 280 reps and 180 manufacturers. There is still time to register at MAFSI’s website.
