First Watch To Hatch A Dozen Stores In Carolinas

First Watch, the Charlotte-based daypart-only chain, is making plans to dish up breakfast, brunch and lunch at another 12 franchised outlets. An exclusive development agreement with Good Morning Carolinas, a subsidiary of Houston Pizza Venture, will put 12 new First Watch restaurants in the Charlotte area, as well as in the Greenville and Spartanburg, S.C., markets within the next five years; the initial opening is set for next year in Columbia, S.C. The Good Morning Carolinas-operated restaurants will feature First Watch’s “Urban Farm” design and revamped menu. First Watch has nearly 280 restaurants in 26 states, including more than 190 First Watch outlets; 100 The Egg & I restaurants; one The Good Egg location in Arizona; and one Bread & Company outlet in Nashville.
