Hobart Veteran John Donello Joins Heritage Foodservice

Heritage Foodservice Group has hired John J. Donello as Business Development Manager-Service Segment. The industry veteran will be responsible for outside sales and interacting with service companies and technicians to help better understand, support and expand the Heritage Parts service business.

“John has spent his career working in foodservice sales and management and brings to Heritage a different perspective to help support our service network,” says Joe Birchhill, Heritage’s director of business development-service segment. “He will interact with key service accounts and prospects by continuing to build strong partnerships and open new doors.  His experience with Hobart Service positions him perfectly to speak with service companies, understand their challenges and help deliver the right solutions.”

Donello joined ITW/Hobart Corp. as a service technician in 1977, and worked his way up through the organization, going on to serve in roles including service manager, branch manager, region sales manager, region manager, director of sales, and national sales manager.  He was honored with the Hobart Topper service award eight times during his career with the company.

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Heritage Foodservice Group is comprised of five business units: Heritage Parts and Heritage Service in the U.S.; and Heritage Parts Canada, R.G. Henderson, Key Food Equipment Services and Choquette CKS in Canada.
