Franke Grows Operational Footprint

Franke Foodservice Systems is expanding its 8-year-old campus in Smyrna, Tenn.

The company, a subsidiary of Aarburg, Switzerland-based Franke Group, will consolidate foodservice equipment operations for container and commercial shipments as well as its coffee machine retrieval, programming, testing and shipping operations for the North American market. The expansion also includes construction of a separate building featuring a residential kitchen showroom.

“We’re excited to be expanding our capacity in our Smyrna location, where the outstanding workforce and strategic location have played a huge role in serving our customers and growing our business,” says Foodservice Systems President/CEO Tom Campion. “When we opened our Smyrna campus in 2009, we allowed for the additional space and access needed to expand, and today we take a big step in fulfilling that vision.”
