Alto-Shaam Hires European Business Manager

Alto-Shaam has hired Francesca La Chiusa as its new European Business Development Manager. La Chiusa, tasked with supporting the company’s international distributors throughout Europe, will work with various markets, leveraging existing opportunities and creating partnerships with new markets.

“Francesca has extensive experience with supporting foodservice equipment distributors throughout the world,” says Lucy McQuillan, executive v.p.-global sales at Alto-Shaam. “She is well respected by the industry and has a proven track record of driving international growth.”

Prior to joining Alto-Shaam, La Chiusa was international sales manager at GIGA Grandi Cucine, an Italian manufacturer of horizontal cooking equipment.

Alto-Shaam also has added Brett Freifeld to its culinary team as a Corporate Executive Chef at its headquarters in Menomonee Falls, Wis. Freifeld, a veteran of more than 20 years in the foodservice industry, previously served as corporate executive chef/sales with Bauer Marketing and Sales. Also new is Joe Levesque, who has joined Alto-Shaam’s international culinary team as a Corporate Executive Chef in its Canadian office. Levesque will serve as a culinary resource and go-to liaison between sales, manufacturers’ reps, the head office and service networks across Canada.
