Shawarmer Opens 80th Unit With New Airport Location

Innovative Foods has opened its 80^th Shawarmer restaurant in Saudi Arabia with its first-ever airport installation at Riyadh King Khalid International Airport.

The location in Terminal 5 marks the sixth new Shawarmer restaurant opened this year; two stores opened in Mecca and four in the kingdom’s eastern province. Innovative Foods also is developing a new outlet of the fast-casual chain in King Abdul-Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, due to open in the next few months.

As its name indicates, Shawarmer offers a modern version of Arabic street foods, the shawarma. It has stores in 19 cities across Saudi Arabia.
