José Nicho, CFSP, has joined Stratford, Conn.-based Kitchen Brains as V.P.-Latin America. Nicho, founder of rep agency NS InterMarket, is based in West Palm Beach, Fla., to visit customers and work closely with Director of Business Development-Latin America Carlos Tunnermann.

Nor-Lake Inc. has named Ashlee Myhres as Sales Development Manager in California. Beyond overseeing sales in the state, she will manage select key accounts and develop new business opportunities overall. The 10-year industry veteran joins the Hudson, Wis., manufacturer fom a sales post at Norm’s Refrigeration; she also has worked with Carmen/Girard and Associates as a field sales associate. Myhres reports directly to Director of Sales Mike Eckelberg.

Tracy Taraski is joining S2O Consultants, the Hawthorn Woods, Ill., foodservice design firm, as a Project Manager/Designer. She spent 22 years at Kansas City-based Bigelow Cos. in the same role, concentrating on the sports venue segment.

John Billingsley is the new Chief Development Officer at Paris Baguette, the 20-year-old Parisian-inspired fast-casual global bakery. He bring more than two decades of experience to the job; he joins the 3,000-unit chain after holding the same title at Le Pain Quotidien USA, where he led reorganization efforts for its domestic expansion and developed and implemented a real estate growth plan that included a diversified channel and geographic strategy.

Globe Food Equipment Co./Middleby Corp. has added Brian Clouse as National Service Manager. Clouse joins with more than 20 years of business sales and service experience in multiple industries. He most recently worked as an account/service manager with Rieck Services, an HVAC and plumbing service provider in Dayton, Ohio. Clouse, who reports directly to Globe’s EVP Lisa Todd, is responsible for after-sales’ support, managing field service companies, coordinating technical support, and parts distribution operations.

Chris Greer was tapped as Continuous Improvement Manager at Master-Bilt/Standex following 10 years of manufacturing and management experience, most recently with Milwaukee Tool Co. The new hire will drive operational excellence initiatives and develop consistent improvement in Master-Bilt’s manufacturing operation. “The primary focus for Chris will be to help develop new continuous improvement projects going forward,” says V.P.-Operations Tom Machingo. “We are very excited about the opportunities to improve and implement best-practice training methods and tools.”

Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group (RSG) recently named Isaac Madla as Director of Strategic Sourcing. Madla will be instrumental in leading and driving material cost reductions for the Hudson, Wis., manufacturer. He brings two decades of sourcing and procurement experience to the post; he most recently worked with Crown Iron Works and prior to that, served as director of global strategic sourcing at Whirlpool Corp. “Isaac’s broad experience will help us drive one of the key objectives for the RSG,” say Senior V.P.-Operations Bryan Wadie, to whom Madla directly reports. “We expect to capture significant cost reductions while simultaneously creating a more reliable and responsive supply chain.”

MarkeTeam Foodservice has appointed two veterans of its inside sales team as Territory Managers. Spencer Miles will helm eastern Washington. Hunter Vanderpool will oversee Alaska and southern Oregon. The rep firm, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is based in Vancouver, Wash.
