Foodservice Equipment Reports


The Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association has announced the recipients of its 2011 University of Industrial Distribution scholarships. Twenty-one individuals representing 11 dealer companies received Education Foundation scholarships for the program, which concentrates on the industrial wholesale-distribution industry. It is run through Purdue University, March 7-11, in Indianapolis.

The individuals and their companies are:

  • Mike Arias, Abel Blanco, Carolyn Monganga, Christopher Robertson and Christopher Votion of Ace Mart Restaurant Supply
  • Kathleen Andrews of American Energy Restaurant Equipment
  • Cathy Lane, Shannon Nestor, Nathaniel Norris, Elizabeth Price, and   Carrie Shambarger of Central Restaurant Products
  • Dave Groff of Clark Food Service Equipment
  • Sue Cole of Dixie Store Fixture & Sales
  • Laura Hernandez of Federal Supply USA
  • Jeff Menster of Rapids Wholesale Equipment
  • Peter Caro of Sam Tell Cos.
  • Jessica Pendergrass of Saratoga Restaurant Equipment Sales
  • Ryan Williamson of Strategic Equipment & Supply
  • Jeff Evans, Jeremy Morris and Brian Russell of The Wasserstrom Co.

While FEDA has awarded all of its scholarships for 2011, dealers can register on their own for the program. Members interested in the UID program can now review the 2011 brochure in the members-only section of FEDA’s website and register to attend.
