Publisher’s Viewpoint: Dealer’s Choice

There's no question dealers play a crucial role in the foodservice equipment ecosystem. In the very personal relationships between dealers and manufacturers and end-users, there truly is no one size fits all connection.

The staff here at Foodservice Equipment Reports understand the importance of dealers, so much that we dedicate part of our June issue to this key sector of our industry.

In the lead up to the issue and over the course of the year, we spend countless hours speaking to, meeting with and learning from the dealers and buying groups that are our partners and our audience to hone in on exactly what's important to them and to the success of their businesses. That relationship with the dealer community—and its willingness to be transparent and open—is key to our mission at FER.

The Top Dealers Report is a reflection of that. To be included in FER's dealer rankings, the dealer agrees to independently verify its sales volume. That willingness to go the extra mile makes our ranking something you can count on.

It doesn't end there. Just last year we made the decision to grow our dealer-related content, adding a regular Dealer Focus feature to the magazine. In addition, even though we already printed more magazines than anyone in our competitive set, we felt that a marketplace the size of the foodservice equipment and supplies industry deserved more. So, we added 10% to our distribution list with a large portion of that dedicated to increasing the already substantial dealer circulation we had.

That means more coverage, more information and more stories to help you navigate your own relationships with the dealer community. So, check it out, reach out and find the perfect fit for you and your company. The editors at FER already have done a lot of the heavy lifting for you.
