Auntie Anne’s, Sister Brands Launch New Delivery Format
Select Texas stores have partnered with Wing, seeing ‘strong early results demonstrating improved delivery speed.’

Since June, five GoTo Foods units have been elevating delivery with the implementation of Wing’s drone delivery.
The offering is live in three Texas markets—Frisco, Fort Worth and Plano—at select Auntie Anne’s (two units), Jamba, McAlister’s Deli and Schlotzsky’s locations. Customers must reside about four miles from participating stores, and place orders via DoorDash.
The company says the implementation has driven “expanded reach into high-growth suburban areas, extending access well beyond traditional mall locations.”
“Drone delivery is one way that GoTo Foods is unlocking innovation with purpose, to expand accessibility and drive frequency,” says Kieran Donahue, chief commercial officer at GoTo Foods, in a press release. “Today’s consumer expects brands to meet them where they are, on their terms and that’s exactly why we’re modernizing through convenience and personalized experiences. GoTo Foods is focused on innovating in ways that are intuitive and seamless—all while staying rooted in the trusted experiences that our brands have created for decades.”
GoTo Foods is one of the first national foodservice companies to offer drone delivery across multiple brands, says a release. Besides Auntie Anne’s, Jamba, McAlister’s Deli and Schlotzsky’s, GoTo Foods also is the parent company of Carvel, Cinnabon and Moe’s Southwest Grill.
Recently, White Castle, too, began testing a new delivery approach with aid from a robotics company and third-party delivery provider.
