Berlin’s Restaurant Supply Earns Easy Ice Award

Easy Ice held its inaugural awards ceremony, recognizing one foodservice equipment dealer and one manufacturers’ representative of the year at The NAFEM Show. The brief ceremony took place at the Hoshizaki America booth.

Easy Ice chose Berlin’s Restaurant Supply, based in Charleston, S.C., as its dealer of the year and Kevin Cox with Cannon Marketing, a Hoshizaki distributor in Kinston, N.C., as its manufacturer representative of the year. Easy Ice recognized the awardees for their innovation and customer-first attitude, along with their exceptional collaboration in promoting the Easy Ice subscription as an ice machine rental solution to their customers.

“It’s been a pleasure to work with both Berlin’s and Kevin Cox,” says John Mahlmeister, COO at Easy Ice, in the announcement. “Both demonstrated a willingness to try new things in cooperation with us, which we really appreciate.”

Easy Ice donated $5,000 on behalf of the winners to Feeding America, a charity supporting food banks across the nation, including in all 21 Easy Ice branch and service locations.
