The CES Family of Companies, a supplier of equipment, supplies and services throughout the Midwest, has acquired Windrock Enterprises. Based Knoxville, Tenn., Windrock sells foodservice equipment to conveniences stores and restaurants in east Tennessee.

The announcement comes a week after CES posted it had acquired Cleveland-based Dubick Fixture and Supply, growing its footprint to Ohio.

By adding Windrock to its portfolio, CES grows its network of foodservice dealers, bolsters its conveniences store offerings and expands its footprint south to Tennessee.

David Gallaher, founder of Windrock, which started in 1995, says in the release, “Joining CES creates opportunities for growth. Combining the offerings of Windrock and United Fast Food and Beverage, another CES company, will bring significant value to our customers. The combined offering will be a front to back solution for convenience stores covering design, install and service.”

CES has hired Michael Roenna to lead the new convenience store division as vice president. Roenna has a strong background in the industry, having worked as division president at Core-Mark.
