Irving, Texas-based Chuck E. Cheese is pushing ahead and beyond, adding a sixth continent to its global footprint.

This week, the eatertainment brand shared that it would open its first location in Europe, specifically the U.K., as part of a new multiunit agreement.

“Chuck E. Cheese is an incredible global brand that brings families together across cultures through the universal language of fun,” says Mario Centola, COO of Chuck E. Cheese Int’l. “We’re thrilled to bring our unique magic for family fun to the U.K. We have partnered with an outstanding team that shares our passion for delivering unforgettable family experiences.”

Cheesy bread and pizza grace the menu, which added “grown-up offerings” like specialty pizzas, meatballs, new chicken wing sauces, Buddy V’s cake slices and more in late 2023.

Currently, Chuck E. Cheese and its franchisees operate nearly 600 locations in 45 U.S. states and 17 foreign countries and territories.

Other brands sharing international growth plans this month include Dave’s Hot Chicken and TGI Fridays, the former of which FER spoke with about tips for navigating global growth earlier this year.
