Copeland brand Cooper-Atkins has appointed regional sales managers, food safety in the eastern and western regions, respectively.
Each individual will manage the manufacturer’s sales agencies, distributors and regional restaurant chain sales. They will call on franchisees and dealers, plus represent Copeland at trade shows and industry events, and help drive Cooper-Atkins’ sales through distribution.
Overseeing the eastern region is five-year Emerson employee Andres Gonzalez-White. Prior to Copeland, he spent 30 years in various roles in the shipping, cargo, and consumer products industries with companies including Maersk, Pacific Trellis Fruit, Lego, and Procter & Gamble.
Gonzalez-White, who resides in the Orlando, Fla. area, speaks five languages and has a bachelor’s in business administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibanez of Chile, an MBA from Getulio Vargas University of Brazil and a bachelor’s in general plant science from the University of Florida.
Meanwhile, Abby Perdue, who is new to Copeland, will oversee the western region. She will help the Cooper-Atkins team execute growth strategies for specialty retail supply dealers, as well as continue representative management processes established by Jim Kirk.
She most recently worked as account director at Caleres (formerly Brown Shoe Company) in St. Louis. Among her accomplishments, she helped develop a shoe for women in the U.S. Army and Air Force. Perdue has a bachelor’s in psychology from St. Louis University, and resides in St. Louis.
Both individuals will report to Lori Ramsey, director of sales, food safety and healthcare.
