Culinary Equipment Group Names Corporate Chef
Ramon Ortiz will offer equipment support to operators, consultants and dealers in northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana.
Culinary Equipment Group, a manufacturers’ rep firm serving northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana, has hired Ramon Ortiz as corporate chef. He brings to the role years of industry experience and a passion for food as well as the foodservice industry.
“We’re delighted to welcome Chef Ramon Ortiz to our team,” says James Carr, president of Culinary Equipment Group, in the release. “His culinary insight and hands-on experience will be instrumental in helping our customers discover the full potential of the equipment we represent.”
As corporate chef, Ortiz will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams, lead cooking demonstrations, and support operators with best practices for functionality, efficiency and menu execution.
