Easy Ice Acquires Another Texas Company

Easy Ice shared this week it has expanded its reach across Texas by acquiring Tri Cities Supply Co. In April, the ice machine rental provider scooped up Wholesale Supply in Longview.

Easy Ice says the transition will be seamless for customers since Tri Cities has a fleet consisting entirely of Manitowoc ice machines, a brand the provider services every day. Tri Cities started operations in the early 1980s.

“I am pleased to add more density in a market where we recently made an investment,” says Darren Boruff, chief acquisitions officer for Easy Ice. “I know the team will continue to enhance the customer service experience and I look forward to building upon the foundation of these companies and maximizing value for all stakeholders.”

Founded in 2009, Easy Ice has over 33,000 machines under its management across 47 states.
