Electrolux Professional Group’s Herring Readies to Retire

As the manufacturer’s president business area food Americas, Herring was ‘instrumental’ in integrating Unified Brands.

Change is coming at Electrolux Professional Group, as Dave Herring, president business area food Americas, recently announced that he plans to retire.

A release says he will stay on until his successor is found, and a recruitment process has been initiated.

Herring has been with Electrolux Professional Group since its 2021 acquisition of Unified Brands, where he had been president since November 2014. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at Avery Dennison Corp. and 12 years with Emerson.

“[Herring] played an instrumental role in the integration of Unified Brands into Electrolux Professional making the Group a significantly larger player in the U.S.,” says Alberto Zanata, president and CEO of Electrolux Professional Group. “I would like to express our sincere appreciation for his dedication and hard work.”
