Baja-style chain Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has appointed Chef Josh Diekman as director of culinary and executive chef.

In these roles, Diekman initially will focus on streamlining the menu for easier execution as the brand expands and creating back-of-house processes for consistency systemwide. He will also focus on culinary innovation and incorporating consumer trends.

As the business owner of the culinary consulting company Culisource, Diekman has been the creative force behind Fuzzy’s Taco Shop’s limited-time offerings since 2018. His experience also includes working as the corporate executive chef at Land O’Lakes, responsible for menu development, operational procedures and trend analysis. Before that role, he held the same position at Nestle, partnering with restaurants such as Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Chili’s Grill and Bar, TGI Fridays and Bar Louie.

Diekman holds various certifications, including Worldchefs Certified Master Chef, American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Chef and Certified Culinary Administrator.
