Illinois-Based Distributor Appoints New CEO

An employee since 2020, the newly appointed individual also has worked at GE, Grainger and Reinhart Foodservice.

Vernon Hills, Ill.-based Diversified Foodservice Supply—a distributor of supplies, parts and accessories to the foodservice industry—has a new leader at the helm.

On Thursday, March 14, the company announced the appointment of Dale Barina as CEO. Barina initially joined DFS in 2020 as chief supply chain officer, and was elevated to serve as its president and chief operating officer in 2022. Before joining DFS, Barina held leadership roles at GE, Grainger and Reinhart Foodservice.

Diversified Foodservice Supply, the parent company of AllPoints and TundraFMP, serves over 250,000 foodservice customer locations worldwide.
