In Memoriam: Tom L. Redditt Jr., of Tom Redditt Foodservice Solutions
The 88-year-old, who also served in the Air Force, spent 42 years with the company his father founded.
MAFSI announced the passing of longtime association member Tom Lonam Redditt Jr., of Tom Redditt Foodservice Solutions. Reddit Jr. died Nov. 29 at his home in Littleton, Colo. He was 88.
Reddit Jr. was born in El Paso, Texas, and grew up in Shreveport, La. He served in the Air Force from 1955-1959, married his wife, Sylvia, in 1957 and eventually joined the family business (then Tom Redditt Sales) in Denver with his father, Thomas Redditt Sr., working there for 42 years.
Reddit Jr. is survived by his wife, Sylvia; his children Sandra McAdow (and her husband, Bruce), Patty Redditt and Lance Redditt (and his wife, Darcy); and daughter-in-law Penni Redditt. He also leaves behind grandchildren Ross McAdow (and his wife, Taya), Mitchell McAdow (and his wife, Devan), Benjamin McAdow (and his wife, Emily), Matthew Dart, Hannah Meadows (and her husband, Brian), Chase Redditt, and Patience Redditt, as well as two great-grandchildren, Rowan and Banyan McAdow. He was preceded in death by his son, John Redditt.
“He was a dedicated, tireless supporter of the association, the foodservice industry, and an amazing friend and leader who will be greatly missed,” writes MAFSI.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations to Redemption Hills Church in Littleton.
