Johnson-Lancaster Acquires West Coast Dealership

Johnson-Lancaster gains a stronger presence in the region, while the West Coast dealership expands its services.

Business Deal

Johnson-Lancaster and Associates, based in Clearwater, Fla., has boosted its West Coast presence by acquiring IFE Group/SCRDG.

Based in Encinitas, Calif., IFE/SCRDG serves as a dealership with a focus on chain and independent restaurants and government entities. The company will continue with the same management team under the same name.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be welcoming the entire IFE/SCRDG team into our family of companies,” says Brad Lancaster, president of Johnson-Lancaster, in the release. “Together we will be even better and be able to improve our ability to service our customers nationwide.”

The acquisition will allow IFE/SCRDG to provide expanded services to its customers as well as nationwide distribution.

“The JL acquisition allows our company to offer our chain, independent restaurant and government customers more competitive pricing, increased capabilities, availability of smallware packages and next day delivery of equipment, greater options for warehousing and logistics, online ordering capabilities and a national footprint of installers and other critical services to our restaurant development network,” says Michael Benson, president of IFE Group/SCRDG, in a statement.

Johnson-Lancaster, ranked No. 9 in the FER 2023 Top Dealers Report, also includes JLA Equipment Distributors, Bezac Equipment Co., Restaurant Supply and Sparks/Tailored Foodservice Fabrication.

Earlier this week, Singer Equipment Co. announced it has acquired Hotel & Restaurant Supply.
