KaTom Earns Multiple ABC Awards

Allied Buying Corp. recognized its members and suppliers during its spring conference, held in early May at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Bellevue, Wash. ABC Board President Marc Tell and Executive Director Tom Venetis presented the awards.

The supplier award went to Service Ideas for overall member support. Runner-up awards went to Cal-Mil Plastic Products for total dollar volume increase and for overall member support (largest # of ABC members with growth) and Churchill Dining Out for total percentage volume increase.

Member awards went to KaTom Restaurant Supply for total dollar volume increase and overall supplier support (largest # of ABC suppliers with growth) and National Restaurant Supply for total percentage volume increase. Runner-up awards went to KaTom Restaurant Supply for total percentage volume increase and TAKKT Foodservices for total dollar volume increase.

Other awards for total dollar volume increase and total percentage volume increase were given to Eastern Tabletop; and overall supplier support (largest # of ABC suppliers with growth) was awarded to Douglas Equipment.

A retirement award went to Libbey’s Karen Pierce, who is the most honored supplier individual in ABC’s history, winning seven supplier executive of the year awards and ultimately a hall of fame award from ABC.
