Marcone Strengthens Commercial Kitchen Team

The distributor appoints a regional sales director and vice president of national accounts.

Marcone has made two appointments to its commercial kitchen team: Barney Hinkle has become western regional sales director, and Scott K. Hoffmann, vice president of national accounts for the U.S.

Hinkle will oversee OEM parts distribution to independent service agents on the West Coast. The company says Hinkle’s extensive marketing background includes consulting work in the beverage industry, as well as experience with Anheuser-Busch and blue-chip companies nationwide. He fills the role vacated by Jeff Victory, who was named central region sales director.

Meanwhile, Hoffmann will focus on driving national account business across various foodservice equipment channels. He brings a wealth of experience in sales and strategic account management from his time in the commercial real estate and building automation industries, which Marcone says it will rely on to continue expanding its marketplace influence.

Marcone announced two years ago that it was entering the commercial kitchen segment. It also serves the HVAC, plumbing, and pool and spa segments. It has a network of nearly 200 locations in the U.S. and Canada, including distribution centers in most major metro areas.
