Middleby Announces Latest Acquisition

The newly acquired company offers a solution to eliminate and prevent scale buildup associated with water usage in commercial foodservice equipment.

Middleby today announced its acquisition of Chandler, Ariz.-based TERRY Water Treatment Solutions.

The newly acquired company offers an environmentally friendly solution to eliminate and prevent scale buildup associated with water usage in commercial foodservice equipment including steam, ice and beverage products.

“There is significant potential to expand the TERRY customer base and grow their sales through our current, extensive Middleby product portfolio and customer channels,” FitzGerald adds.

This year, Middleby has completed two other acquisitions. In January, it scooped up Flavor Burst, which creates multi-flavor add-ons for beverage and ice cream equipment. Then, in June, the company announced its acquisition of Filtration Automation Inc., a maker of high-capacity oil filtration machines for food processing operations.
