Attendees of FER’s Multiunit Foodservice Equipment Symposium 2026 will hear from two experts—Nathan Miller and Mike Snyder—on equipment maintenance. MUFES will take place Feb. 2-4 in Clearwater Beach, Fla.

Miller, who serves as vice president of Coastline Cooling, will focus on water filtration systems. He’ll deliver a from-the-field look at setting up and maintaining the systems for cold- and hot-side equipment across multiple locations. Based in Florida, Coastline Cooling works with some of the state’s largest multiunit operators.

Snyder, president and founder of The Aligned Solution Group, will give the straight story on building a predictive maintenance program that uses data to forecast when equipment is likely to fail, reducing downtime, emergency repairs cost and lost revenue. Snyder has led programs at Brinker Int’l., Corner Bakery and Newk’s Eatery, and is the co-founder of Ecotrak.

These two maintenance-focused sessions are part of a larger education program at MUFES, geared toward foodservice equipment and supplies specifiers at restaurant brands and noncommercial foodservice facilities. Stay tuned for FER editorial coverage following the event. Visit the MUFES page for more details.
