Publisher’s Note: That’s A Wrap!

With a hearty assist from our MUFES sponsors and attendees, FER had a fulfilling start to the year.

2025 has started off as a very good year at FER and I hope it has for all of you as well. FER’s Multiunit Foodservice Equipment Symposium (MUFES) was held at the end of January in beautiful, sunny Clearwater Beach, Fla. Not only was the weather great, but the speakers, hotel and attendee list were spectacular as well.

If you follow our social media channels, you have already received plenty of nuggets of information that can help make 2025 a successful and transformative year for your companies. Our speaker lineup continues to be industry-leading. Allison Rezendes, editor-in-chief, Lauren Coughlin, managing editor, and the rest of the FER editorial team go to great lengths to find the most insightful, thought-provoking speakers. MUFES 2025 featured panelists from big-name restaurant brands like Dine Brands Global, Famous Brands Int’l. (Mrs. Fields and TCBY) and Jack in the Box to the emerging chain Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen. We also heard from Frontier Energy and the Food Service Tech Center, NSF, ReFED and Technomic, plus many others!

Thank you to our sponsors, attendees for speakers and a spectacular MUFES.

Find out more in our terrific recap (starting on Page 13), filled with highlights and plenty of pictures of many of our industry’s best and brightest. To our sponsors, speakers and attendees, thank you! You not only took time out of your busy schedule to attend, but each and every one of you contributed in numerous ways to making this year’s MUFES the best in its 23-year run!

Feeling like you might have missed out? Registration will be opening soon for MUFES 2026. It is sure to be even bigger and better than any others in our industry!
