Manufacturers’ rep firm PBAC Associates has announced the sale and transition of the company to PBAC 3.0 LLC, signifying the beginning of its third generation of leadership.

Following a period of leadership under Larry Cantamessa, whose vision and dedication were instrumental to PBAC’s growth and reputation, the firm says in the release, it has established a new internal ownership structure.

The PBAC 3.0 ownership team includes the following:

  • Joshua Erdheim, president
  • Damon DeMercurio, vice president of sales
  • Lisa Kerester, director of administration
  • Jeffery Youker, director of project management and culinary
  • Cory Perez, business development manager
  • Josh Finn, director of technical sales

Michael Posternak, who plays a key role in the MAFSI Business Barometer, and Steve Bauer founded PBAC in 1988. Posternak will continue to serve as chairman and CFO, while Bauer and prior owner David Aitkenhead will remain in active support roles.

Supporting the leadership transition is a team of six seasoned professionals representing PBAC’s sales and administrative divisions: Terry Flynn, Paul Todoro, Irene Reiter, Gail Kocienski, Jon Ross and Herb Rembert.

PBAC remains headquartered in Eastchester, N.Y., representing manufacturers throughout northern New Jersey, New York and Fairfield County, Conn.
