Rippe Associates has completed its multiyear ownership transition. After a process that began more than three years ago, Steve Carlson, president and former majority owner, has officially sold the firm to longtime leaders Christine Guyott, Katie Lint and Eric Goodrich.

As part of this transition, Guyott has assumed the role of president and will continue to lead the healthcare studio; Lint, director of operations, will continue to oversee finance, firm management and human resources; and Goodrich, principal, will continue to lead the education/civic studio.

Carlson has stepped back from day-to-day operations beginning in January, as he moves closer toward retirement. Rippe states he’ll remain actively involved in a mentorship and advisory capacity, supporting leadership development and select business development initiatives to ensure a smooth transition.

“Completing this ownership transition is both personally meaningful and professionally rewarding,” says Carlson in the release. “I’m incredibly proud of what Rippe Associates has become and confident that Christine, Eric, and Katie are the right leaders to carry the firm forward. Their dedication, integrity, and vision ensure the firm is in excellent hands.”

Rippe, based in Bloomington, Minn., provides foodservice design and consulting services. It recently promoted Matthew Anderson to principal of the hospitality team.
