Tasting flights, coffee-inspired cocktails and Princi food will be just a few things on the menu at Starbucks’ new three-story store set to open in New York City’s Empire State Building on Nov. 16.

Starbucks says the store, spanning 23,000 square feet and dubbed Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building, will serve customer favorites, like lattes and cappuccinos, from its traditional menu, along with Starbucks Reserve signature beverages, such as the Hazelnut Bianco Latte, Whiskey Barrel Aged Cold Brew and Nitro Almondmilk Mocha.

The store will offer several brewing methods and become the only location to offer drinks crafted with Cold Press Espresso, a patented brewing technology designed by the Starbucks Research and Development team that allows espresso to be cold pressed to order.

For those looking for something stronger, Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building will blend the skills of the bartender and barista to offer a full cocktail and mixology menu, featuring classic and signature cocktails like espresso martinis and new coffee-inspired cocktails exclusive to the store, says the chain.

The location also will put a focus on “connection over coffee” by offering interactive experiences. Such experiences include ticketed small-group classes that provide hands-on learning in coffee, beverage and mixology, along with tasting flights and food pairings.

As for food offerings, Princi, the exclusive food supplier of Starbucks Reserve, sharable plates and entrees will add to the menu. To start their meal, customers will receive a complimentary Starbucks Reserve coffee tasting, “a nod to a longstanding Starbucks tradition of starting gatherings and meetings with a moment of connection over coffee,” says the brand.

Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building will add to the Starbucks Reserve store portfolio that includes six Starbucks Reserve Roasteries and other Starbucks Reserve stores worldwide. In 2019, Starbucks opened its latest Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chicago, marking its largest store at 35,000 square feet and spanning five floors.

Starbucks has operated stores in the Empire State Building since 2008 and opened its first store in New York City in 1994.
