Vulcan, part of ITW Food Equipment Group, has made two appointments to its leadership team: Amber Pfohl has joined as senior director of sales and Jason Hovan has become corporate chef.

Pfohl brings more than a decade of experience in the foodservice industry to her role. Her career includes time spent as director of national accounts at Alto-Shaam. In her new role, she’ll oversee all Vulcan sales functions, including customer service, project and design, key accounts, and street sales. She’ll partner closely with the ITW FEG sales force.

Hovan has more than 20 years of experience in culinary innovation, program development and team leadership. He’ll lead Vulcan’s new culinary strategy, including elevating the impact of trainings and equipment demos as well as contributing toward the organization’s customer back innovation efforts.

“I’m confident that with Amber leading Vulcan sales efforts and Jason leading culinary initiatives, that Vulcan will accelerate its growth and continue to make progress on its vision of being the dominant single brand cooking equipment company in the industry,” says Meghan Hurst, vice president and general manager of Vulcan, in the release.
