Wasserstrom announced today it has won the 2024 Taco Bell Star Award for Equipment and Smallwares, presented by Yum Brands.

The Star Award goes to suppliers that demonstrate outstanding performance in areas such as customer service, product quality and innovation. This award marks Wasserstrom’s fifth Star Award, and its third win in the Equipment and Smallwares category.

According to the release, Jon Quan, sr. manager, engineering at Taco Bell, said at the awards ceremony, “In 2024, we launched twice as many LTOs, which means twice as many smallwares, twice as much coordination, and twice as fast. Wasserstrom has been a vital part in supporting our restaurant operations. The magnitude of this business involves hundreds of thousands of smallware orders for our stores.”

Quan also mentioned Wasserstrom’s ability to “handle projects with professionalism, deliver new store packages on time, and react quickly to accommodate requests.”

Chad Cerra, assistant vice president of national smallwares at Wasserstrom, says, “To be recognized by Taco Bell in this manner reflects the hard work and dedication of our team and the partnership we have with RSCS and the brand.”

Cava also recognized Wasserstrom this year with its Service Vendor of the Year Award.
