Babila Takes Post At Carpigiani USA/Ali

Carpigiani USA has named John Babila as its exec. v.p.-sales and marketing. His lengthy resume of sales management experience includes his most recent role in the same post at ISA. Babila has also held the title for E&S companies including Electrolux Professional in North America and Middleby Corp. He will remain based in his Jupiter, Fla., office, and will report directly to Filippo Berti, president of Ali Group North America.

Carpigiani USA, an Ali Group company located in Winston-Salem, N.C., has been in the U.S. market for more than 40 years. Its manufactures frozen dessert equipment, including gelato, ice cream, soft-serve, pastry, shakes, slush, hot chocolate and display and storage equipment.

The Ali Group, a privately held company headquartered in Milan, Italy, operates globally through 66 brands in two dozen countries.
