NRA SHOW DEALER ATTENDANCE UP 6%

More dealers made the trip to Chicago’s McCormick Place for the 92nd annual National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show last month. The association released attendance numbers that showed a 6% rise in attendance among dealer/distributors, as well as a 4% increase in the restaurant/foodservice category of attendees.

The May 21-24 show attracted nearly 58,000 registrants, according to preliminary analysis. On the exhibitor side, there was a 9% increase in occupied floorspace over 2010; more than 1,900 exhibitors covered more than 515,000-sq.ft. of the two halls.

NRA Show 2012 will be held May 19-22, again at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The 2012 International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event will be held May 20-21.
