INSINGER EARNS VA APPROVAL

Insinger Machine Co., the Philadelphia-based warewashing equipment maker, has received approval and verification by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business. Insinger CEO Robert Cantor, a former U.S. Army officer, is a Vietnam-era disabled veteran.

The family-owned firm can now participate in the Veterans First Contracting Program, which provides approved companies special opportunities, consideration and rights on U.S. government foodservice equipment contracts.

Insinger joins a small group of dealers, distributors, and other E&S companies listed on the “Vet Biz” registry. Founded in 1893, Insinger has provided equipment for government foodservice for more than 60 years and received the Army-Navy E-Award in the late 1940s.
