In-N-Out Burger Debuts In Texas

Value-pricing and special deals are helping profit margins for at least a few chains. Crowd control has seldom been an issue, though. Except when it’s In-N-Out Burger launching in a new state. In May, the Irvine, Calif., chain finally—after much anticipation—made its Texas debut. Two units opened on the same day in Allen and Frisco, both near Dallas. The family-owned chain has another five under construction, and will open up to eight locations, in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Texas is In-N-Out’s fifth and most eastward state. In additional to its home state, the 260-unit chain has outlets in Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
