Pizza Hut is getting bigger, literally, in India. India Retailing reports all recent and future Pizza Hut locations will cover up to 3,000 sq. ft., some 50% larger than previous 2,000-sq.-ft. stores. Delhi-based Devyani Int’l. India operates 170 outlets across the country. Its twofold expansion focuses on home delivery outlets, where it hopes to add 300 units, and casual dining formats, with a goal of opening 150 Pizza Hut restaurants by 2015. Pizza Hut, a division of Yum! Brands, is based in Dallas.
