Head to NAFEM’s website and check out a new tool developed by NAFEM and ASTM International. The Sustainability Calculator defines a standard method for foodservice equipment manufacturers to measure and report the environmental impact of products.

The Sustainability Calculator is an Excel spreadsheet that provides a standard method for foodservice equipment manufacturers to measure and report the environmental impact of products. It identifies specific environmental factors, awards points to the corresponding factors and calculates a total score. This information helps clarify environmental impact factors, allows product comparisons and provides data that may be used to prepare LEED submittals.
