Urschel Opens Tenth Int’l. Branch

Urschel Laboratories continues apace with global expansion. The Valparaiso, Ind., maker of food cutting equipment has opened a new subsidiary office in Italy, relocated its direct Singapore office to a larger location, opened its first Latin American office, and signed up a new sales representative in Chile.

Urschel Int’l. Ltd. Italy, which opened for business last December, is the company’s tenth branch in Europe. In Latin America, Urschel Laboratories recently signed Inter Chile as its official sales representative in Chile; Urschel opened its first direct Latin American office, Urschel Latinoamérica S.R.L., in Rosario, Argentina, a year ago.

Finally, the company’s 7-year-old Asian headquarters has had growing pains. Urschel Asia Pacific Pte. in Singapore has moved to a larger building that offers greater accessibility and room for future expansion.
