Mobile App Will Debut At FEDA’s 2012 Convention

It’s not just the seminars, workshops, business meetings and golf scores that will garner attention at this week’s Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association convention in Tucson, Ariz.

Also making news is the debut of FEDA’s inaugural Convention App. The association is no stranger to society’s (and the business world’s) increasing reliance on mobile devices. In order to assist attendees in planning their schedules, navigating the various presentations and events, and connecting with colleagues at the March 28 to April 1 convention, FEDA has launched its app.

As a first-of-its-kind, the app is a beta test version. If convention attendees deem it beneficial, it will be refined and improved upon for future conventions. The app can be accessed via any laptop, smartphone or tablet browser by entering this link: http://eventmobi.com/feda.

The app lists all of the sessions, as well as event descriptions and locations, speaker information, attendee lists, a map of the meeting rooms, and other information about the FEDA convention. Prefer paper? A printed copy of the convention program will also be available.
