In Memoriam:

  • MAFSI member Joseph Lawrence Bruno, president and owner of Dealers Choice, died March 20. He was 68. Bruno ran the Larchmont, N.Y., manufacturers’ representative firm for 30 years. The Vietnam War veteran is survived by his wife of 45 years, Laura; two daughters; and eight grandchildren.  Services have been held.
  • Thomas Bryan, whose career in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry spanned more than 60 years, died on Mar. 20. He was 82. His career started with his father’s Memphis, Tenn.-based restaurant supply business, U. S. Fixture and Store Co.  Bryan later worked for United Inns, and then as an outside sales rep for South Eastern Manufacturers’ Agents in Atlanta until his retirement last year. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; a son and two daughters; and eight grandchildren. Services have been held.
