TriMark Acquires Century Concepts

TriMark USA announced on Sept. 28 that it had acquired Century Concepts, a Suwanee, Ga., dealer/fabricator. The company joins TriMark’s South division to create a new branch: TriMark Century Concepts.

Century Concepts was established in 2000 by Gregg Adams, a 19-year industry veteran. The company supplies customer-oriented, turnkey services with start-to-finish capabilities including design, custom millwork, furniture, and equipment sales.

“I am proud to be joining the TriMark team,” Adams says. “Aside from working alongside some of our industry’s best, joining TriMark instantly gives us access to a wider range of products and services. That means we can offer our clients convenient access to smallwares and disposables.”

TriMark USA CEO Jerry Hyman said that Century Concepts’ customer-focused culture aligns perfectly with the TriMark brand. “Gregg Adams and his team bring capabilities that complement our depth and breadth of services, and, with TriMark South, will expand TriMark’s reach in Atlanta and throughout the nation. Additionally, it extends our capabilities to a new market segment, packaged chain fulfillment.”

The acquisition enhances the reach of TriMark South, which opened in `09 to serve operators in the Atlanta market. Scott Bishop, pres.-TriMark South, will retain that title as president of the combined, Atlanta-based entity. He called the acquisition a significant step forward for his company. “They bring second-to-none resources and expertise in launching great new fast-casual brands. They’ve always excelled at tailoring their design offerings to meet customer needs. And, they’ve set the standard for customer service in the marketplace.”

TriMark USA, headquartered in South Attleboro, Mass., has 11 divisions providing design services, equipment, and supplies to the foodservice industry.
