Kitchen Brains Opens Singapore Office

Kitchen Brains has expanded into Singapore. Kitchen Brains Pte. Ltd. will be headed by River Zhang, who has been promoted to v.p. of business development-Asia Pacific. Rathna Kumar joins Zhang in Singapore as director of SaaS business development.

“We have recognized explosive growth in the region since opening our customer support center in Shanghai in 2003,” Zhang said. “Our global chain clients and regional OEM partners are very excited about our new capabilities in Singapore.”

Stratford, Conn.-based Kitchen Brains makes cooking timers and process controllers that connect all components of food preparation. Kitchen Brains Pte. Ltd. will serve as the customer support center for all business and sales activities in the Asia Pacific region.
