Biel To Helm Marketing At Scotsman Ice

Scotsman Ice Systems has appointed Jeff Biel as director of marketing. Biel had been product manager for the company for more than seven years; prior to joining the Vernon Hills, Ill., firm, he served as product manager for seven years at Tetra Pak. Scotsman also has named Gary Schwalb as western regional sales manager. He most recently was chain and key account manager at Norm’s Refrigeration and Ice Equipment in Anaheim, Calif., and served as a Scotsman branch and service manager in Los Angeles. The company also has hired Eileen Waters as western regional manager for consumer products, including its Brilliance collection. Waters recently served as territory manager, key accounts, for Miele USA.
