Fink Heads To Milan As Ali Group Exec, Kelly Succeeds Him At Ice-O-Matic
Kevin Fink has been named executive v.p. of the Ali Group. He will relocate from Denver, where he has been president of Ice-O-Matic, to join Ali’s corporate team in Milan. Beginning March 2, Fink will report to Massimo Giussani, COO, Ali Group, and assist in the group’s overall support, control and development initiatives of its 76 brands; his primary focus will be on the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Fink began his career in the foodservice equipment industry in 1987 as a regional sales rep for Hobart Corp.; he spent 13 years there in various sales and marketing positions before joining the Enodis Group in 2000 as v.p.-marketing. In 2005, he took over at Ice‐O‐Matic and added management responsibilities for Scotsman Industries, comprising both the Scotsman and Ice‐O‐Matic brands, in 2008. During Fink’s tenure there, both companies saw a significant sales and earnings improvement. “Kevin brings a wealth of experience to our group corporate team and I am certain that he will greatly contribute to strengthen our businesses globally,” said Luciano Berti, Ali Group chairman and CEO.
Fink is succeeded at Ice-O-Matic by Keith Kelly, who will take the reins Feb. 1 as president. Kelly, who had been serving as the Denver firm’s executive v.p., will oversee day-to-day management; he’ll report directly to Rich Gleitsmann, COO, Ali Group North America. Kelly has an extensive background in the foodservice equipment industry, including four years leading InterMetro’s international business and more than a decade at Ice-O-Matic as v.p.-sales and marketing.
