FCSI Worldwide Names New Execs

The Foodservice Consultants Society Int’l. has named Ian Hopper to a two-year term as its new Worldwide president. Hopper, a principal of consulting firm McCartney Taylor Dimitroff in Victoria, Australia, takes over from previous FCSI Worldwide President John Radchenko, of Van Velzen + Radchenko Design in Toronto. Radchenko will continue to support FCSI in the role of immediate past-president.

Also joining the FCSI Worldwide Executive Committee as secretary/treasurer is Gérard Wolbert, of Kloosterhuis Adviseurs in Haps, The Netherlands. Wolbert, a 10-year FCSI veteran, has served as chairman of FCSI-The Netherlands, and as a member of the European board of trustees representing FCSI’s Europe-Africa-Middle East Division.

Looking ahead for the organization, Hopper spoke in his inaugural address about the need for welcoming “new, young members” and introducing them, via education, mentoring and industry experience, to a career as a consultant to the foodservice industry. www.fcsi.org “””
